Perhaps I should not present these 2 images of a small flock of American Comb Ducks, Sarkidiornis sylvicola, as a scoop... But we are in SW Florida at the edge of an urban
pond, and these particular ducks aren’t supposed to be anywhere North of Trinidad.
Other
than their Old World counterpart, Sarkidiornis melanotos, they're not known
as migrators.
An adult, light color female with two female and two male juveniles.

Not aware of the species, it was my mistake to assume that the group would remain for a while.
Couldn't find them again. Perhaps they got scared by one of the many local Alligators or even Otters
